What is glycerin?
Glycerin is a natural humectant, it attracts moisture and provides additional hydration to the skin. Glycerin is a natural by-product of the soap making process. It is gentle enough for most skin types.

Can I use this soap?
Yes, most definitely. We make beautiful soap to be used and enjoyed. We use high quality ingredients and do not sacrifice beauty for convenience.

Should I custom order?
You can order from our Collection or Signature lines. Custom making allows you to create a soap based on you skin needs. At Artizan soap, we provide visually pleasing soaps with high quality ingredients. Seasonal changes, stress, aging all effect the skin. You can add clay to absorb the extra oils in the hotter temperatures, or shea butter for extra moisture for those hard winter days.

Why is my soap slightly different than the photo?
There could be two reasons. One, computer monitors differ, and what looks one color on one type may differ slightly on another. Secondly, it could be due to the fact that each and every soap is hand made. They are not manufactured in large quantities, but made one at a time. So, it is possible to have a soap that looks slightly different than the photo.

How do I take care of my soap?
Please use the soap! But to make the soap bar last as long as possible, be sure to keep in a soap dish, so the water can drain from it after use.

How long will it take to process my order?
Once we receive your order at Artizan soap, we will do our best to get it on its way to you within 3-5 business days. If we anticipate a delay, we will contact you.

What is your return policy?
At Artizan soap, we stand behind our products and want you to be satisfied. However due to the nature of our products, once the soaps leave our premise, we can not verify the risk of contamination. If you receive a package that was damaged during shipping, keep the shipping materials and show to carrier.
